Welcome to Sarah's Bookshelves Live. I'm your host, Sarah Dickinson. Join me every other week as we get real, and sometimes a bit snarky about books and reading. Let's get rolling.

0:23.4

Welcome to the fall 2025 circle back episode, where we discuss books that we shared in the fall preview now that we've actually

0:28.6

had a chance to read them, or at least attempted to read them. Catherine is joining me. Hi,

0:34.3

Catherine. Hi. For those who tuned into the fall preview, I'm just going to get right

0:39.2

to it. You assigned yourself 4,000 plus pages to read in preparation for the circleback episode.

1:30.8

50% success rate. So it's just as I start looking further back that I see the days of success

1:38.6

ratings in the 80% range. Those days are gone. You had those? Yes. Oh, see, I didn't even realize that. That's rare for me.

1:47.9

I had it this past summer, and that was like the pinnacle of previews for me. Right. Well, you know what?

1:55.5

Then I guess we can agree they're anomalies. It's not a goal to shoot for. It's not that realistic. But yes, I had things like
