athletic trainer talking to our head of PR I'm thinking we got good people

here and that's exciting to be a part of.

That was just one of the ways Kirk Cousins admitted that there was improper contact

between the

Falcons and him during the 52-hour negotiating window.

He spoke to the head athletic trainer on Tuesday,

smack dab in the middle of that window.

He would later say in his introductory press conference held just a few hours

after the window opened on him being able to talk directly to members of the

organization he had spoken with director of player personnel Ryan Pace the former GM of the

Bears and cousins also said that Kyle Pitts the Falcons tight end had been

actively recruiting him for multiple weeks and the cousins got involved during the

negotiating window in the recruitment of Darnell Mooney to the Falcons. So while cousins was in a point where they couldn't even talk directly to him,

somebody had gotten the message to him that he should try to call Darnell-Money to get him to go to the

Falcons at a time when the Falcons weren't allowed to talk to Darnell-Money.

I mean it was

tampering and the end result was. After some reporting that created the impression it was going to be a lot worse.
