Well, without further ado, let me kind of introduce you to my new buddy over here. Kyle, tell us a little about yourself and your ministry before we

start talking about your book and all the fun, I mean, aspects of prayer that we're going to dive into

today.

Hey, brother. So good to be with you, man. And yeah, I am the director for the Institute for Spiritual

Formation at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. And the Institute is basically a place

where we kind of wrestle with theology. How do we understand life before the face of God?

But then also really dive in experientially to that dynamic and really consider what is growth

like, not just abstractly, but actually an experience.

And so I'm a new to the director role, so I've been kind of leading the institute this year,

but I've been in this position for nearly 12 years now. It is such a blast. The opportunity to

kind of see all of these various things coming together around

the questions students actually have has been really rich.

I help lead a church, Redeemer Church in Lamaada, California, right by Biola.
