So Dr. Patrick Moore, back to some of these dire warnings, fraudulent science,

scare tactics, and you were talking about plastic. So let's dive right in with this story about

this enormous island, this great Pacific garbage patch, they call it, that's full of plastic,

twice the size of Texas. It sounds horrible, but you say it doesn't even exist.

Well, that's correct, Richard. It does not actually exist at all. It isn't there.

There is plastic floating in the ocean. It's dispersed very much so. It's not in huge patches.

They only have made this up because no one can check it for themselves. It's part of the universal

theory of scare campaigns. And the sad thing is, is that I bought into this
