Hey guys, what's up? This is Jacques. Welcome back to On Popular. I have Ryan Bailey on today from So Bad It's Good with Ryan Bailey. I had him on because we almost got into a podcasting beef. It's like a whole thing. And we cleared the air about that, so I'm

sure you guys will find that entertaining. So we talk about all of that. And obviously, we talked

about some Bravo stuff too. And then I actually feel like the rest of our chat was just like

weird podcasting minutiae that you guys might not even care about, to be honest. Like, it might

be a little bit

too inside baseball of just Ryan and I being neurotic podcasters, overthinking everything

that happens to us. There was a lot of that. So, sorry if you guys can't relate to that,

if you don't have a podcast. I just get way too in my head because I feel

like I have, um, I feel like I have one foot in this very commercial mainstream type of Bravo podcast

space and then like another foot somewhere completely different. And sometimes I don't want to be in

the Bravo space, but then I also want to be successful and talk about things that people actually

care about instead of like random shit that like no one wants to hear. Um, and I don't want to be successful and talk about things that people actually care about instead of

forever. So it's just a constant war in my head. Like sometimes I'm jealous of the indie pods

because they can go so super niche with their topics and just do whatever the hell they want. But then

I'm also like, well, no one cares about what you're saying. You have like five listeners and this shit is a lot of work for a hobby. So what are you even doing if you don't want people listening to it? So I don't know. It's just a whole thing. And then everyone fucking tells me I'm fake every week now. That's the new thing. First, it was like I'm problematic and the racist and all that.

Now, apparently every week, it's like he's, I'm faking everything. So we'll see what the next thing is that people hate me for.

I'm just in a very chaotic state right now. You guys know I move back home. There's renovations going on

on top of my countless family members visiting. So not only am I living back home, there's renovations going on on top of my countless family members visiting.

So not only am I living back with my mum, my stepdad, but then it's, you know, extra family

have all decided to come and visit while I'm here.
