Revelation chapter 19 verses 11 through 16

depict one of the most majestic awe-inspiring portraits of Jesus as he comes back.

And so I just want to read these verses and then lead us to praise Jesus for who he is in

anticipation of the day when we will see what John saw.

So here's

revelation 19 verses 11 through 16 that I saw heaven opened and behold a white

horse the one sitting on it is called faithful and true and in righteousness he judges and makes war.

His eyes are like a flame of fire and on his head are many diadems and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. He is closed in a robe dipped in blood.

And the name by which he is called is the word of God and the armies of heaven arrayed and fine linen white

and pure were following him on white horses. From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations and he will rule

them with a rod of iron. He will tread the wine press of the fury of the wrath of

God the Almighty.

On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written,

King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Oh, Lord Jesus, we praise you.

Even reading those verses and praying according to them right now,

I'm just overwhelmed.

Awed, we are stunned by your glory.

We stand in awe and fear of you and all your majesty. You are

King of Kings and Lord of Lords and you are coming back to judge and make war and to bring full and final salvation to all who

trust in you Jesus we say together we trust in you as the Savior of our sin is the one whose robe is dipped in blood because you died for our sins.
