I'm really excited.

I want to start with your history, like how you got here, because you told me that you

did not grow up in a religious household.

So how did you end up becoming a reverend?

Well, yeah, exactly.

I grew up in a, well, first, I was adopted at age five.

And the family that adopted me, a nice Irish family.

A tan kid growing up as an Irish family made things interesting around St. Patrick's Day. But they weren't really particularly religious.

They went to church on Sundays, you know, the traditional.
