| 0:32.0 | We call upon him in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. |
| 0:36.1 | Amen. Our Rosary for tonight is called faith through community. We'll offer this up for all the petitions that have been sent in. |
| 0:46.0 | At the Last Supper, Jesus offers heartfelt prayers to the Father, |
| 0:50.8 | and in these verses he offers a very profound prayer on behalf of some |
| 0:56.1 | important people. Let us listen to Jesus in John's gospel. He says, I do not pray for these only, but also for those who believe |
| 1:07.4 | in me through their word, that they may all be one, even as thou father art in me, |
| 1:15.0 | and I in thee, that they may also be in us, |
| 1:19.0 | so that the world may believe |
| 1:22.0 | that thou hast sent me from Chapter 17. |
| 1:27.0 | He prays not just for his apostles but for all those who believe through the Apostles' Word, |
| 1:34.1 | that is all of us. |
| 1:37.4 | He teaches three profound insights here. |
| 1:40.0 | One, he prays to the Father on our behalf. |
| 1:44.0 | Two, that unity is divine. |
| 1:48.0 | And three, that this unity in God and in our own relationships offers convincing proof to the world that Jesus is indeed the Savior. |
