My Lord and my God, I firmly believe that you are here, that you see me, that you hear me.

I adore you with profound reverence.

I ask your pardon for my sins and the grace to make this time of prayer

fruitful. My immaculate mother, St. Joseph, my father and Lord, my guardian angel, intercede for me.

We put ourselves in the presence of Jesus in the tabernacle,

and we make the prayer of the apostles our own.

Lord, increase our faith.

Our topic of conversation with our Lord is life of faith, fidelity,

the traditional topics that we bring to prayer.

Lord, how do you want us to view this very special virtue

that is so intimately connected with miracle working.

As we contemplate the gospel, we see that miracles occur from two perspectives, one the divine one.

Only God could work miracles.

But Jesus virtually doesn't work a miracle without an act of faith. In his infinite providence and wisdom and love,

God has decided to need our faith.

Jesus needs our faith to work miracles.

Obviously, he's not trying to be difficult, but he requires that.

It's necessary.

And his miracle working is a sneak preview of even more spectacular miracles than curing sick

people or even bringing people back to life.

But the miracle of attracting others to our Lord, that's the ultimate miracle, where we are
