I hope right now that I'm talking by faith.

I hope that in a little while I'll answer questions by faith.

I hope then I'll eat a cookie by faith.

I hope then that I'll go and be a mentor by faith.

I hope then that I'll eat lunch by faith.

And then I'll visit my friends

the messrs this afternoon who live in Melbourne and were part of my church years ago by faith.

And I hope that I get on the plane on Monday by faith. And I hope that everything I do is by faith.

When you think about faith, do you mostly think about believing Scripture's big truths,

or do you think about trusting God in the smallest moments of your day?

Those two things together, God's being for himself and for us that I suggested last night was,

God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him.

And I said that that has two implications.

One is that God is as committed to pursuing and upholding your satisfaction in Him as he

is in pursuing the glory of His name, which is an awesome commitment.

That God is as committed to pursuing your joy in him as he is committed to upholding the honor and the glory of his name.

And the second implication was that it is your duty to pursue your joy in God to the fullest
