Daniel chapter 3, verses 16 through 18.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king,

O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.

If this be so, our God, whom we serve, is able to deliver us from

the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O King. But if not, be it known to

you, O King, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.

What a statement of faith!

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, right after the king tells them,

they're going to be thrown into a fiery furnace.

They look back and say, we have nothing to say here. Our God is able to deliver us

from anything you throw at us, including a fiery furnace. And then at the same time, they say,

even if he doesn't, he's still worthy of our worship, and we're not about

to serve your gods or worship this golden image that you have set up. What a great picture of how

to pray for the miraculous in our lives and others' lives today, to trust with all of our hearts that God is able to do the

miraculous that God is able to heal in miraculous ways to deliver in miraculous ways to provide

in miraculous ways which is what a fiery furnace would represent here in Daniel

chapter 3 at the same time to trust in the wisdom of God, the good hand of God, that if he

chooses not to deliver us in this particular way, not to heal in that particular way, not to move in that particular way,

he is still worthy of our worship, still worthy of our trust.

I just want you to think about something that would be miraculous in your life, in others' lives

around you, in the world, and assuming it doesn't go
