Life as a young parent is often filled with, can't wait.

We can't wait till they sleep through the night.

We can't wait till they can sit up.

We can't wait till they can feed themselves, and the famous, we can't wait till they can

walk.

Then they take that magical first step, and then another and another.

And sooner than you can imagine, they're walking out the door to college.

Our theme for this meditation from 3 John 1 is walking, having faith to walk and walk

well, trusting in the steps we take.

As we begin, rest here having faith and walking with God.

Whether at the beginning or the end of your day, have faith to trust placing your hand

in his to walk well.

Take three deep belly breaths as your eyes drift from open to a soft focus to closed,

and trust in this place of care, this time of guidance, and this moment of faith in

God's spirit and Son.

Prepare by listening and praying through this passage from 2 Peter 1, and respond softly,
