| 0:48.6 | prudence justice fortitude temperance and now we move to the theological virtues, faith, hope, and love. |

| 0:58.4 | What is faith? |
| 1:01.1 | God revealed and offered himself totally to us through Jesus on the cross and in the Eucharist. |
| 1:08.0 | Faith is our response to God's gift of himself to us. |
| 1:15.0 | Faith is the total gift of myself in return to God. |
| 1:20.0 | Total surrender to Him, to rely on him without reservation, no hedging of bets, all in. |
| 1:28.0 | Faith is to believe the whole truth of what Jesus teaches through the church, but not only just to believe |
| 1:35.3 | it but to do what he teaches, because if we don't live it, then we must not have believed |
| 1:41.6 | him in the first place. |
