If you would look in 1 Corinthians, the first chapter again pleased today, 1 Corinthians 1st

1 Corinthians 1 and 18, it says the preaching of the cross is to them that perish

foolishness.

But to us which are saved, it is the power of God.

Everybody say power of God.

Verse 22, it says the Jews seek after a sign and the Greeks seek after wisdom.

But we preach Christ crucified to the Jews a stumbling block and unto the Greek's foolishness.

To unbelievers, whether you're looking for intellectual something or whether you're looking

for some power manifestation, spiritual, if you're an unbeliever, you're looking for some power manifestation, spiritual,

if you're an unbeliever, you're not satisfied with either one.

But if you're a believer in Christ, you find he is both.

He is all.

He's all the wisdom and understanding you'll ever need for the rest of eternity.

And he's all the power you'll ever need.

To them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ's the power of God and the wisdom of God,

because the foolishness of God is wiser than men and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Look in the second chapter in the first verse, 1 Corinthians 2.1,

says, I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom

declaring unto you the testimony of God.

I determined not to know anything among you save Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling.

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit
