Talk about guy talk, don't worry, Stephen Barrett talk about Ryan Day and Nathan, sometimes you have to ask a question that can sound inflammatory because the answer might be no.

But if you don't ask the question, you'll never find out. So we have a survey, we have a discussion that is around the idea of the level of faith that Ohio State fans have in Ryan Day.

And this to me again, slice it thin, this is not a discussion of is Ryan Day on the hot seat. This is not a discussion of how long is Ryan's day going to be the head coach at Ohio State.

You know, I did rants like two weeks ago on who the if he would leave for the NFL after this year, who the next head coach would be.

This to me is just like right now, how Ohio State fans feel about Ryan Day right now. Is he getting better as a head coach? Is he changing as a head coach? He's entering year five.

How important this season is and I do feel like at a time Nathan.

When Ryan Day is preparing to is thinking about giving up play calling to Brian Heartline.

When he's coming off to consecutive losses to Michigan, I do feel this could be a transitional year in Ryan Day's coaching life.

Do you do you think that idea is possible?

I do. I think it is a significant year for him for any number of reasons.

And I already think though that when we'll discuss this, but some of the transition has already happened.

And I I'm curious to hear what you sent out of survey. We're going to have some results and we have some comments from our our book I talk textures.

And what did they say relative to how they felt about Ryan Day on Thanksgiving weekend and how they felt about Ryan Day on New Year's day?

Because I think that we've already seen some growth and he's been talking about that.

So there's a question that a texture asked a while ago that prompted this.

But let me do one of the survey questions first Nathan before we dive into that idea.

And it's this because I do think this is where everything starts as you look back on the hiring of Ryan Day with 2020 hindsight.

What do you think of the move? It was definitely the wrong move should have hired somebody with experience from the outside.

It was definitely the right move promoting day was smart. It could have gone either way, but I'll lean toward hiring day.
