Go to Mark 11, 2 Timothy 1.

Mark 11, Jesus had spoken to a tree.

And in the process of a number of hours a day or so, it withered away.

And they remarked about it and knew that it was supernatural and knew that something

happened as a result of him speaking.

Very important for us to realize he did this as a man, not as God.

And so, yeah, but that was Jesus.

He's the son of God.

He can say and do things like that.

Well, no, that's leaving the wrong impression.

He is the son of God.

But the Bible teaches that he emptied himself and became like other men.

And so when he's living and walking on the earth during this time, he's operating just like you or I would.

As a man.

I know that's contrary to religious teaching, but read the Bible.

You've got two sources for what you're going to believe.

What he said and what everybody else thinks.

Now if you're smart, you know which one to pick?

Pick what he said and don't be bothered by what everybody else thinks.

And Jesus took that as an opportunity to teach them about faith.

And we have our beloved Mark 1123 and 24.

But 22 is part of it too and Jesus said in verse 22 he answering and he said unto them
