Chris, one of the things I try to do on this show, since we are giving advice and since we're trying to put a framework out there that we believe to be gospel centered,

is I never want to come off as if we have it all together, as if our public witness is perfect,

or people would think that we're perfect with our families in every aspect of life.

That's never true.

So I like to make confessions.

I like to be honest about things going on with me and things that I've had to do and

at times that I didn't get things right.

And I don't know if you ever have to do this, but sometimes you even have to,

I've had to, and I had to recently apologize to your children, right?

As a father, sometimes you want to come off as if you're not

that you're perfect, but you want them, you want to have the credibility to tell them what to do

and for them to believe you. But sometimes that goes up against the fact that you've sinned
