In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk,

that deepen your understanding of God's Word and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your life.

The Bible says that without faith, it's impossible to please God.

So if you love God, surely you want to please him, right?

Yet, what so often keeps us from living by faith and even seeing with eyes of faith?

I would say it's fear. The Bible also reminds us that our

hearts can't live without hope. It's the anchor for our souls. Yet what keeps us from hoping?

I would say it's fear, fear of disappointment. We don't want to hurt so we don't dare to hope.

The Bible tells us that these three things will last forever. Faith, hope,

and love. So what keeps us from living loved and from loving others well? Again, I'd say it's most

often fear. Fear is a spirit. It's not from God. And it's God's perfect love that casts out fear.

So how impaired are we really from fear? I mean,

how often does the spirit of fear keep you and I from mountain moving faith, from fresh,

life-giving hope bubbling up within us, from that deep abiding love that gives us an assurance

that all will be well and all is well because god is on the throne and how might

we live differently if faith hope and love marked our lives to such a degree that fear eventually became a
