President Trump asking the Supreme Court if we can freeze foreign aid isn't that a job for

Congress it's a great question Monty there's a lot of Supreme Court, if we can freeze foreign aid, isn't that a job for Congress?

Yeah, that's a great question, Monty.

There's a lot of things that the court is being asked to rule on that really should be either

the president or Congress.

Guys, what do you think about this one on foreign aid specifically?

Yeah, I would rephrase it or reframe it just a little bit.

I don't think the president is asking the

court if he can freeze foreign aid. He's already frozen foreign aid and somebody objected to it and went to

the court and now he's having to argue in front of the court, but he never went to the court. He just

said, hey, this is a presidential power. I'm preaching foreign aid. The court's not in charge of

foreign affairs. The president is not in charge of foreign affairs.

The president is.

And then as with most other things he's done, somebody sued and took it in the court and said, no, you can't do that. We don't like it. And so now it's in the courts. And so he's having to argue his side of the case in the courts. and his side of the case is that, hey, this is not your business.

This is my business.
