Welcome to the Jesus Image podcast.

Lord, today we just want to invite you to speak to our hearts. Lord, we love you. We fear you, Lord. We give you our attention today. We ask you to speak to us, Lord. We love your word. Show us your ways.

Lord, show us your ways in your word change our lives for your glory in Jesus name amen and in Luke chapter 2 we can turn on Luke chapter 2 and we'll

bounce around a little bit today in the Word.

I felt impressed by the Lord today to speak on the wisdom of God.

We need the wisdom of God, amen.

The times that we're living in are complex and are only becoming more complex.

The church is being purified and being built up into maturity, being brought up into maturity

by the Spirit of God as we submit ourselves to His rule and to His Word.

Amen.

Jesus is returning for a mature bride and we need the wisdom of God in order

for that to happen. And no matter where we're serving the Lord in the world, the Lord is doing

the same thing in his church. He's seeking to awaken his church, purify his, deliver his church, and build his church up.

And Luke chapter two is a beautiful passage. I know usually we read this passage around Christmas

time. Is it Christmas time? Do we read this passage? I guess maybe that's one of the times.

But, you know, there are not many, there's not much said about the life of Jesus, you know,

before the age of 30. Very little said about his life before the age of 30. And this is one of the

key episodes of his life that the Spirit of God wants us to see. And here he's 12 years old,

you know, starting in verse 41, his parents, I'm reading out of the ESV, by the way, his parents are on

their way to Jerusalem. They go every year during the Feast of Passover, and he's about 12 years old, and they lose sight

of Jesus.

Most likely they're traveling with the family.
