Lord grant us rest in you right now and all the energy we need to listen and speak

and may the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight,

oh God, my rock and my redeemer.

I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

The greatest problem facing the world

is that the creator of the universe has sentenced every human being to everlasting condemnation,

because all of us have committed treason against him by giving the greatest affections we have for other things and not to him.

We have exchanged the pleasures of our Creator

for the pleasures of creation.

There is none righteous, no not one, anywhere in the world. The natural human mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God, indeed it cannot,

and those who have this treasonous state of mind cannot please God.

We are all rebellious and ruined.

Therefore, ruined.

Therefore, all mankind are by nature children of wrath.

The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness because we all suppress the truth. The whole creation is subjected to futility because of our sin.

It groans in the bondage to corruption.

The book of nature, the human conscience,

the law of God all testified to this so that we know every mouth is stopped and the

whole world is held accountable to God.

Therefore, a great and final day of wrath is coming upon the earth. The Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire
