Summary

**This episode is brought to you by MuteSix, Gorgias, and Attentive**

“Good fortune to your skin,” that's what Fairy Glow Mother does to your skin. In part 1, we have Hadiyah Daché, Founder and CEO of Fairy Glow Mother, a budding skincare empire based in Oakland, California.

Hadiyah had worked in tech and marketing in the past, but she felt bored. She got on to the beauty industry by starting a part-time skincare studio in 2018. Her studio specializes in treating acne, hyperpigmentation, and transition.

But in 2020, the pandemic led her to quit her full-time job and take her beauty services studio as a full-time job. The name 'Fairy Glow Mother' came to her randomly in the middle of the night. While the pandemic is tragic, she feels it provided the motivation and environment to get her skincare products jumpstarted.

She discusses:

* Gratefulness
* Overview of the brand
* Her motivation
* Becoming a business owner
* Building community
* How she named the brand
