On today's episode, we discuss Robert Jenric's cladding proposals and you ask us

why aren't the Lib Dems doing better than the Greens?

So yesterday, Robert Jenric announced his much-anticipated plans for resolving the ongoing cladding

problem with unsafe cladding on lots of buildings around the UK.

He had a package of just over three billion pounds for buildings over 18 meters in England.

Anouche, you wrote a great analysis of this yesterday of sort of what this quite limited thing does and doesn't do.

Would you mind sort of running through the big problems with it?

And also the good things if you want to start an opposite of no.

Well, it is a good thing that they're releasing more funding for this because it is a widespread problem.

Essentially, for those who haven't been following the ins and outs of it,

people who are living in buildings that are wrapped in the similar type of dangerous cladding that the Grenfell tower had when it was refurbished

are in sort of a difficult position where they are having to have their buildings remediated to take away the fire unsafe stuff.
