I can't tell you how much I enjoy and am enraged by what you write.

You're really one of the best journalists out there covering California and all the

nonsense that's going on. And I've just learned an awful lot. I've used a lot of your stories on

the air. So thank you for that. Well, I appreciate that. You had a story today. know, before we talk about today's story,

tell people your overall view on what's happened in California government

with this woke progressive movement and what it's done to the state

and why they're doing it.

Well, sure.

I mean, it's all much worse than people realize.

I mean, I think people see the degradation, the loss of dignity, particularly around what we call homelessness, but it's really a problem of untreated mental illness and addiction. And of the breakdown of civilization. I mean, you know, civilization requires law and order. It requires that we have safe sidewalks, that people don't camp everywhere. And now we're seeing the worst consequences of it
