Serena Shahidi. Hello. How is everybody?

It's a lovely day here in New York. It is hot as hell.

It's like 85 degrees outside and my air conditioner is not on

because I'm recording and it is too goddamn loud.

So I am feeling quite toasty, but I do it for the people.

So you're welcome. How is everybody? How are you?

Are you feeling good? I'm feeling good. The latest development in my life.

I don't know if this is progress or the opposite of progress or regression, if you will.

But I'm taking a little break from therapy. That's my latest thing.

I, you know, I might go back. We're calling it a break.

But I'm over it right now. I feel like it's been a bit of a long time coming.

I don't know if you guys are in therapy, but there are times.

There are stretches where you just go for several sessions with nothing to talk about.

And I mean, I just started telling my therapist about what movies I was watching,

what I had for breakfast. I was like, I was giving him gossip.

I was giving him celebrity gossip. It was all sorts of things.

We weren't really working on anything anymore. For better or for worse.

Because I think I kind of had nothing to talk about for a while.

Because I'm not really, this is sort of an announcement.

I'm not really that crazy anymore. I'm not. I mean, you know, I'm quirky.
