Hey everyone. Welcome back. This is Andy with the Port Prolls Almanac. In today's episode, we have a special guest, Scott Miller, an anarchist Quaker preacher who works out of Michigan and is the author of the book, Gospel of the Absurd.

Tell us a little bit about yourself for our listeners.

Yeah.

Currently, my spouse and I and the one child that we have left living at home run a small farm.

It's mostly a raw milk operation.

We have sheep.

Generally, we have hogs, chicken, turkey, eggs,

and my wife is a midwife, my spouse. And so she's kind of been supporting the farm,

which is being operated under the, with the intention of trying to identify a means of engaging in reparations, relationships,

educating folks and how food, especially meat and dairy products, get from the farm to the table,

identifying different ways to engage in economics of equity.

And also learning to meet our neighbors.

We live in a very, very politically conservative area of the state and the nation.

Our sheriff is the one who appeared on stage at a rally with the folks who tried to kidnap the governor of Michigan.

So there's a lot of Trump banners around. And when we had a, when some of the youth in this area held a unity rally,

they knew better than the color Black Lives Matter.

We were surrounded by 150 heavily armed males with full body armor and assault style or military style
