Welcome to our first five minutes. Today we're talking about winning the day. We want you to win the day.

And I had a specific situation where this came up in our lives just recently where I was doing

a webinar.

And for those of you who are following us, you've seen that we've done the patient parent

webinar series recently.

And I was doing those on Wednesday nights and there was a particular day where I had

been working quite a long time that day and I had just not seen our kids that much. It was just,

it was one of those work days. And I was getting ready. I'd at least gone out for dinner,

but I didn't get to play with the kids that much. And so I'd come back into the office and I was

getting ready to do the webinar. And it was about 10 minutes to it was getting ready to start.

And our daughter walks in and she just said, Daddy, I miss you.

Will you play a game with me?

And I was like, geez, Louise, like 10 minutes before the webinar starts, how am I going to?

Like I felt like I wasn't winning the day.

And it was one of those moments where I just said to myself, I'm going to go win the day.

And I went upstairs

with her and we played Uno for 10 minutes before the webinar. And it was a shot in the arm

that gave me a boost to be able to do that patient parent webinar that night. And it also sent

her into her room to go to

bed just a happy little duck because she got 10 minutes with her dad. And so my encouragement is
