Today we are talking about trauma, not drama.

This is something we learned from our precious friend Lisa Harper.

We do trauma, not drama.

And so basically what the idea is, is we really want to step into the shoes of another

person and really understand and help them through trauma.

And so when we're traumatized, when we go through a crisis situation,

that is something we really want to

step into the shoes of our children, of our spouse, of friends, those that God puts into our lives

and listen and be a listening year, a strong presence when they're going through that. But what

we don't want to do is we don't want to do drama.

Yeah, exactly. And I think it's something we need to learn for ourselves, but also be able to teach

our kids. Trauma is something that often we associate with large scale, has to be really big.

That's what we call the capital T traumas. But there's also a lot of lowercase tea traumas that we go through in our life it's things that

we've it's wounded us and we still carry with us it's stuff that will happen to our kids they

will be wounded by the world and by people and they will carry lowercase tea traumas we pray

against the uppercase the big tea traumas but we recognize we live in a broken world and it'll happen and we care.

And that is something that we want to imprint upon our kids.
