Welcome back to Famous at Home in five minutes.

Today we're talking about saying no to work and yes to family.

Let's do that.

Let's do that. This is hard.

The reason this is so hard, especially for us, I think, is because we work together,

we do family together.

It's all intertwined.

But so often it's so easy to get caught up in work and say yes to work because, let's be

honest, there are certain things that we do in work that give us a dopamine rush in our brain

that's sitting down and playing a game of shoots and ladders

it just doesn't chaotically does not no and and work feels more urgent parenting and family is just this long

it's the long game it's always there kind of thing yeah and i think so so one of the activities that

we've done is just this week say no to work and yes to family in one area.

It doesn't matter.

So for instance, we have, we homeschool now.

So we do afternoon stations and kids have 30 minute stations that they have to do in the afternoon.

And now one of the things that I've been doing a couple times a week is implementing a 30 minute dad station.

And I'll say no to work in the afternoon to go get 30 minutes jumping on the trampoline

or 30 minutes of just a fun dad station in the afternoon to say no to work and yes to family.

Your version of homeschooling is awesome, to be honest.
