Today we're talking about be a hero, not a victim.

Yeah, last week in the Nashville area, we got a big snowstorm.

So did most of the south of the United States.

And so we and all the neighbors were out sledding.

Our son took a sled down a hill in this giant field that's behind our house and slid directly

into the only pole in the entire field.

Massive field.

Like giant field.

He could have gone anywhere but went straight into a pole.

And prior to that, he had also run into the fence in the backyard and was just frustrated.

He was just frustrated.

And it was cold outside.

So he's, he's complaining that he's cold, but he's the only one complaining. Complaining,

complaining that he slid into a pole and a fence and he's cold. And so I sat him down and I was like,

but you got to, like this is something that we all get handed in life, hard stuff. And this becomes a choice. We can choose to be a victim.

And so we see like, all this bad stuff keeps happening to me. I hit a pole and a fence and I'm cold.

And we can complain about it or we can partner with God and he can help us to be a conqueror or a

hero of our own story.
