Fred, really glad to be hosting with you, man.

First time podcast pairing, I believe, and should be fun.

Yeah, for sure. We were just saying before we went on that you often listen to Jeff and I, and I often listen to you and Todd. So, yeah, it would be great to have someone different to talk to. And not that I don't enjoy talking to Jeff. Usually on Tuesdays, but yeah, I talked to Todd the last couple weeks and a chance to talk to you, talk with you this week. And lots going around, lots going on around baseball for us to cover. Yeah, absolutely.

You came up with the main topic of discussion today, which will be, you know,

$20 plus earners who went outside of the top 100 and main event ADP.

We'll talk about whether we believe in their early surge or not.

And before we do that, though, it's just some news to start, as you usually do with Jeff.

Today, formally introduced as a giant Raphael Devers.

And he says, Fred, that he is willing to play wherever they need him to.

So kind of a change in tune after the trade.

Now that the dust has settled a little bit on this deal, what do you make of it?

Devers to San Francisco.

Okay.

Well, I don't know.

Probably a lot of people listening have read the athletic article and or the Yahoo article.

It seemed like that relationship had just totally soured between him and the Red Sox.

I actually don't blame the Red Sox for trading him at all.

I understand that it's hard to get talents like Devers.

At the same time, he's being well paid for that talent.
