On today's program, Joyce will be teaching from her series Facing Fear and Finding Freedom. Fear comes at all of us for many different reasons, and it can be challenging to overcome its grip on our life.

If we try to ignore it or avoid it, fear will steal our joy and drain us of our

energy. But there is freedom to be found through the promises in God's word. Joyce wants us to

discover how our faith in Christ can overcome any fear. Let's increase our faith and be free from

fear today. Now here's Joyce with today's teaching. I'll be honest and say, I think we all

probably have a lot more fear in our life than what we might even recognize. Usually if you've got a

big fear, like a heart pounding, you know, this is really, oh, I'm so afraid. You get that, you know.

But I think there's a lot of little underlying fears that have been around for so long

that we've just kind of gotten comfortable with them

and don't even really recognize that they're there.

How many do you think that could possibly be the case?

And so I'm for, let's be free from fear.

Okay?

And you can't be free from anything that you don't recognize

and learn how to deal with.

And so then when you do recognize it, you've got to confront it.

You've got to face it.

One thing about fear is you cannot run from it and ever get away from it.

That's what fear loves to do.

It loves to chase you and watch you run.

And what God wants us to do is confront things and deal with things and know that because he's with us,
