in a candid conversation. This is something that you've spent a lot of time thinking about and being

able to share some of the difficulties that you have faced in your own ministry and building

Joyce Meyer ministries, your leadership. There are just so many valid points here for leaders,

for people who do want to have or do have a ministry, and really even just for people in everyday life because it applies to everything.

What made you start thinking, you know, I've learned some lessons through some really hard things and I want to share it and help other people through it.

I think a lot of people aren't really prepared mentally when they start something like this.

They think, oh, I want to be in ministry, or maybe people might see somebody like me on television

and think, oh, I want to do that.

But that's a little tiny bit of everything else that you have to do.

It's not all easy.

Right.

And you have to be determined.

So one of the first things that I had to deal with was loneliness.

And you wouldn't think, well, how could you be lonely with all the people that are around you all the time?

Well, I had quit a job at a church where I was part of a team of people, and we did all kinds of things together.

And then when I started my own ministry, I started traveling and doing meetings, and I was just by myself a lot.
