0:19.0	We are going to start in chapter 5, verse 10, and read through the next two chapters.
0:24.2	I'm going to start in chapter 5, because as you'll see as we move through it,
0:27.6	the argument into the following chapter just kind of flows from chapter 5.
0:31.5	So we'll go from 5, 10 to the end of 7.
0:34.0	So it's a lot of passage, but I want it to get into our brains, and so then we can
0:38.8	just work to understand it together after we pray. So Ecclesiastes chapter five, beginning in
0:44.9	verse 10, says this, he who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income.
0:56.3	This also is vanity. When goods increase, they increase who eat them. And what advantage has
1:02.0	their owner, but to see them with his eyes. Sweet is the sleep of a laborer, whether he eats
1:07.2	little or much, but the full stomach of the rich will not let him sleep. There's a grievous evil that I have seen under the sun. Riches were kept by their owner to his hurt, and those riches were lost in a bad venture. And he is father of a son, but he had nothing in his hand. And as he came from his mother's womb, he shall go again, naked as he came, and he shall take nothing from
1:27.9	his toil that he may carry away in his hand. This also is a grievous evil. Just as he came,
1:33.6	so shall he go, and what gain is there to him who toils in the wind? Moreover, all his days,
1:39.5	he eats in darkness and mux vexation and sickness and anger.
1:48.2	Behold, what I have seen to be good and fitting is to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all the toil with which one toils under the sun,
1:52.6	the few days of his life that God has given him.
1:55.0	For this is his lot.
1:56.8	Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them
