Facial recognition technology is an amazing thing. It bulks up the security game of government agencies, companies, and facilities all over the world. The science behind it blows my mind, frankly. But is it really necessary to use a face scanner to unlock your phone? There is just too much we don’t know about the long-term effects of Infrared Radiation (IR). But what we do know is disturbing enough. It’s time to open our eyes to the effects of facial recognition tech and go back to good old-fashioned passcodes.
