So, okay, so thank you for joining us and putting up with our technical issues.

Okay, so today's show we have a putting up with our technical issues.

Okay, so today's show, we have essentially three questions that we wanted to pose and actually kind of work through.

And we're going to work through them together because we like doing these things as a team.

Basically, so those three questions are,

is the freedom that is anonymity online?

Is that worth the price of online abuse?

The second question is,

in light of attacks on MPs, in order to make them safer, would that make them more distant

and therefore keep them at arm's length from their constituents?

And in which case, does actually protecting our MPs in that way or our other elected officials in that way,

does that diminish our democracy or defend it?

And our third question, should MPs or other elected officials be allowed to take a second job?

So there's kind of a bit of a theme kind of going through there as to um as to what those sorts of

things um what those um concerns are and to um to look at those so if i start um i'm going to crack on

while Ian kind of starts to um starts to look at that uh regards to that. So in regards to online anonymity,

so we put this question out onto the Portsmouth Politics Facebook page to actually get some

engagement from people and see what their views were on that and to see what ideas there were.
