always looking for a quick way to get home or to go to work or to go to an event and here's what

happened on their way out of las Vegas recently dozens of people used google maps to head back to

los angeles well on the drive up popped a message there's a dust storm oh my've got to get off the road, but we're going to give you an alternate route. So then they get off the highway, they start going down the alternate route. And then what happened? The road stopped. Just stopped. And so then they had to do these seven point turns around cacti and bushes and the California Highway Patrol.

They say they were just inundated with messages.

So before you ever believe an alternate route, just make sure that you follow it to the end to see exactly where it's going to end up.

And speaking of Maps, I got an email saying, at Google Earth, we can even read maps backwards.

And I thought to myself, read maps backwards?

This is just spam.
