Tammy Stefan called 911 last Saturday and told the dispatcher someone just tried to kidnap her

along a description. Dozens of deputies searched for the man and the neighborhood was on high

alert. People purchased dogs. People didn't want family members potentially to come to their homes

detectives say the entire report was a fake. They say this video shows the mother of four,

buying a notebook and other things she planted as part of the kidnapping story. Stefan is a fitness

competitor and personal trainer and according to investigators, she was trying to frame a business

partner who she blamed for swaying votes that kept her from winning an online fitness contest.

She even went so far as to have her daughter urinate herself to make it be more believable

to law enforcement. The sheriff's office says Stefan is a sick person who not only put fear into

an entire community, but costs the sheriff's office thousands of dollars for the man hunt.

Detectives say even Stefan's husband was fooled because he also thought the kidnapping attempt
