Summary
With vaccinations on the rise and the push for a 1.9 trillion dollar stimulus package, the US economy appears to be getting a double injection of adrenaline. CBS News Correspondent Mark Strassmann reports on the job market jolt, converging with a COVID-19 spike in the upper Midwest of the country. We'll have exclusive interviews with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Liz Cheney on a number of topics, including more legislative plans, the Biden administration's infrastructure plan, Rep. Matt Gaetz and more. CBS News Correspondent Liz Palmer reports on COVID19 around the world, and as always, former FDA Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb has the latest on the fight against the coronavirus. These stories and more on this week's "Face the Nation," moderated by Margaret Brennan.
