Hello, my name is Jesse Meekam with another episode of the Jesse Meekam show, and I'm here each week to obsess about you getting good at money. And I want to do a little compare

contrast. I want to talk about the difference between being good or bad at money and how that

might manifest itself in very surprising ways. Today I want to talk about reality and philosophically, I don't want to talk about it at all. I want to talk about reality and philosophically I don't want to

talk about it at all. I want to talk about it in the in the sense that reality when

you're bad at money versus reality when you're good at money are entirely

different things. When you are bad at money, facing reality, getting your grips on reality knowing reality the idea scares you

and i think a lot of us can relate to the idea if we just don't look then maybe reality is different

than we know in our deepest you know know, parts of our heart really is.

And that's what being bad at money feels like as it relates to your circumstances.

And you're just like, I just, I know it's bad.

So I'll just not look.

And the less I know, I know it's bad,

but the less I know detail wise,

maybe the better it will feel.

So reality, when you're bad at money,

reality scares you.

When you are good at money,

reality informs you.

Reality either way is what it is. And of course, you can change things going forward, but the present moment, you cannot change. You are there in the moment.

And reality is what it is in that present moment. Being good at money and saying that reality

informs you means that you take what is and you drive

information from that and from there you can say what do i want to do how do i want to shape things
