Indiva. So it's like a portmanteau of indica and sativa

that sounds perfect biomedical so you're out of Montreal um which is a beautiful city i'm

kind of jealous that you could spend so much time there. And what do you think of the city, beautiful?

Yeah, it's a really beautiful city.

It's the first time I've lived in a city, so it's a new experience to me.

But it has a special kind of energy, man.

It really feels like a crossing point or an intersection of many cultures and ideas and

stuff. And especially in the summer, it becomes really alive, you know, with a lot of festivals.

And there's a lot of, there's just a lot of things happening all the time. Really beautiful people, man.

I'm really blessed to have met an amazing group of friends here that are all kind of

on a similar path and trajectory as I am and you guys are too and looking ahead to the future.

So we connected years ago on a podcast I was doing called Permaculture Salad and we were talking

about ayahuasca, permaculture, shamanism, all sorts of stuff like that.

And you moved to Canada from Peru and jumped into some graduate work studying tropical

plants or a specific tropical plant.

No, it wasn't quite tropical plants.

It was, well, my master's degree was in plant science.

I actually was kind of the opposite.

It really had to focus on what's the idea is called cubic farming.
