All right. How are you tonight? We're, we got, I think we got seven weeks left in the season.

How is everything going there?

Going well. One of the three 25 main event team surged a little bit, although we just lost you, Darvish. Oh, yay. And there was one big prize available. We did not get them, but at least none of our contender, other fellow contenders did either. So there is that. But the prize was Chris Sale, I assume. Yes, yes. I don't need a tease at this point, right? Because no one else is still bidding against me on that. I guess I don't have to be oblique with that. I saw he was 81% known. Was he never drafted in your league? Or was he drafted and dropped and knock and forth? No, because in fact, it's funny because she was loading up our cue, like, he does that on Saturday, like our first pass loads up the bidding queue. He goes, that's funny. He wasn't there. He said he made his debut yesterday and all that. That's true. How much did he go for in your main event? We'll just jump right there before we talk about the next week. Went 117. I only had 112, so I feel pretty good that at least I could not have screwed the bid up. You know, maybe I screwed many other bids up to be in that place in the first place.

But I'm mollified a little bit that I didn't screw this one up and that of the people that

were bidding, you know, that I'm my closest competitors, this is the Guilds League where he's

running away in first place.

He likes you call it that, by the way.

Yeah, I know he does.

He tweeted at us there.

That was great.

But he didn't get him, Jeff Zimmerman and his partner didn't get him. And Tanner Bell didn't get him. Franey's also in that it's like, I think it's a triumvirate there, a three-headed monster. They didn't get them. And neither of the other teams that I'm battling for, you know, that second through fifth spot there was down the roster a little bit. So not that they're not contending, but the immediate closest competitors didn't get them. So at least I had that. Yeah, he was available in one of my online, the one I did like the day before the season. And he went for 203. I had about a buck 51 or something like that left.

So I went kind of in the 80s range, kind of figure if I got him, I'd leave myself with 50 to 60 bucks. But never had a chance at him at 203. I kind of looked at the other teams and figured, you know, of all the teams that are low, I want to beat them all. But the teams that are way above me, like there was nothing I could do. so I kind of put in a spot where I could beat everybody else, but if someone wanted to really help me,

there was nothing I could do.

And I kind of, I kind of put in a spot where i could beat everybody else but if someone wanted to really help me there was nothing i could do and i kind of i kind of found fell in that spot in that 78 to 80 range right in there yeah i could have won them in one of my on lines but it would have i would have been left at like 10 bucks then again that team's in the middle of the pack maybe i I should have just gone, you know, swung for the fences.

I don't know.

It's a tough call. Went for one 33, too. It probably depends if, you know, really, if you really need K's and wins and ratios and that's what you're behind and that makes sense. If you, you know, are weak in offense and good pitching, it doesn't make as much sense. It's kind of really team dependent. but he was a pretty big prize for this late in the year. And it wasn't, it wasn't very many leagues, but there were a number of spots where he just didn't get drafted because people figured it was going to be, you know, August 15th. It was too hard to hold them all year. Yeah, that's right. And, yeah, that's the beauty and the beast about the NFF's NFBC that there is no aisle spots that you just have to eat that roster spot.

And we all know other injuries occur and streaming opportunities occur and you got

to find someplace to stash a guy. Yeah.
