It is Saturday, which means it's time to give out the game ball on Fox Across America to the guest, to the appearance that meant the most to me.

And this week, it was tough, man, because we had a great chat with Jim Jordan, who is ultimately

going to wind up co-hosting this show at some point in November when his new book comes out

to discuss issues facing the country.

But as much as I love Jim Jordan, in fact, I'm spending my weekend in his congressional

district so it could be detrimental to my safety not to give him the game ball.

But lo and behold, I'm giving the game ball to Madison Cawthorn, the freshman phenom from North Carolina's 11th congressional district who was in studio with me on Thursday.

And I give it to him why, because I've interviewed him before, and we always have a good time. but I really wanted a chance to meet him and cut through like the man versus the myth. Because online, understand, Madison Cawthorne as a young influential conservative is depicted as like a clan member. Anti-Semite, racist, lying, murderous thug is how the left would portray him. And obviously,

I know that's not true. And we live in an era of, you know, maximum strength, rhetoric, weaponized

narratives and stuff like that. But I still wanted to meet him and see just how much of a separation

there was between fact and fiction. And man, he was just a doll.

I picked on him.

We made fun of each other.

We talked about the studio.

We got into America.
