Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Fox Across America game ball presentation ceremony where we highlight the one guest who really moved the needle this week.

Either gave us a good time, gave us some keen insight into an issue from an angle I had never considered.

There's a lot of reasons you can win

the game ball, but most of them involved buying me alcohol after the interview. This week's winner

did not do that because she was joining us from afar. She was out in Arizona, where she became

a multiple game ball winner, a frequent guest on Fox News Saturday night, a fella fashion army general,

as we call her on the air.

I'm talking about Katie Pavlach, who was just so much fun, and she really explained the shutdown

from not only a policy level, not only a perspective level, but from a level a dopey guy

like me can understand.

So for that alone, the laughs are great.

But just me having shutdowns for dummies as a manual in my back pocket is why we owe Katie Pavlitch,

not just the game ball, but the world.

I know that sometimes people have some other things to say, but I thought he was pretty good. You liked him. Well, you clearly haven't called into the guy Benson show lately. I kid. Me and Guy had a good time yesterday because I was on his show, and I was like, it's so good to be on your show where you're safe.

That was great. But like, that's what we're doing. Like, we do well and I want credit for this. Like, we are obviously doing like harmless TV. We're having a good time.
