To the F1 season, there's a lot of folk complaining about an off weekend.

But here we are in the Sheds and we've always enjoyed the off weekends.

In fact, we've enjoyed the off season a lot of the time as well.

A gap between the races and the seasons lets you digest all that F1 in your motorsport belly.

And they say the best way to get kids to remember holidays is to sit down afterwards

and get them to remember the things they like and the things they remember

just to get those memories baked in. So if we don't have any gap weeks,

maybe we lose the chance to stop and smell the E10 petrol.

And it feels like we've had a good half a season's worth of drama and intrigue already

but it's way, way, way too early to jump to conclusions and wild speculation.
