and Tom Bellingham, the resident WTF1 founder is always here. He's part of the furniture. In fact, he doesn't leave me alone.

Sometimes I just want to do a podcast on my own and he just sits there and he's on Zoom already, but that's fine.

That's not who I want to introduce the most today. Sorry, Tommy. But presenting.

Newest channel for commentator Alex, Jake's, Alex, welcome. I wish I could do a cand applaud for you.

Your internet hasn't died yet, which is really impressive. But Alex, it's brilliant to have you on.

Apparently, you listen to this tribe every time we put it out week on week, but here you are. You're part of it now.

Brilliant to be part of it. Brilliant to be here. And this definitely isn't the second take where my internet

collapse the first time. So everyone's a winner.

And like that, literally the second you took the Mickey out of it, it froze. Anyway, we will continue. We were talking about it.

We'll pretend it doesn't even happen. Let's dive straight into, of course, it's a very fruity line up in 2021.

We've got lots of things to talk about. The first being, Sergio Perez to Red Bull.

Now, a lot of people, including myself, just cast it aside, said, you know what? No, this isn't going to happen. Red Bull, you know, they've got tied back in.

There's lots of reasons as to why Alex Alvin will stay. He's come through the ranks. He had a few podiums.

But then just day by day, week by week, it just seemed like Sergio had a bit more of a chance. Didn't he, Tommy, until he definitely had a chance because he signed the contract?

Yeah, I think after every podcast, even though we tried to avoid it by the end of it, it still was just hanging over.

And I guess a top team, having a seat free is always such an interesting sort of talking point.

And the fact that Red Bull were looking outside their junior program for the first time in ages, the its mark webber in 2007 was the last time they didn't sort of go with someone in their own stable.

You know, the Red Bull junior team. A bit risky here, Tommy dropping facts because, you know, you've got Alex Jackson. Exactly. He can call me out.

He can call me out. He can jump in.

But, yeah, it's been a long, long time since they've done that. And, you know, after every podcast we're like, that's Alvin gone surely.

And then the next podcast, it would be no 100% he's staying. And it was so dramatic. It just seemed to change again and again and again every single week.
