Kane from Fuck It. Got a divorce. Hello, great to be here. Hey Steve. So how are you today?

I'm fantastic today. I'm really excited to be here. Good. Cool. We're excited to have you. So

how old are you and where are you from? I am all of 56 years of age and I live in Boston Mass

and I grew up outside of Boston. Very cool. I went to Boston University. So pretty. A fellow

traveler. Yeah. Excellent. Yeah, exactly. I went to NYU. Oh, did you? Yes. So we switched.

Yes. Awesome. And let's talk a little bit about your book and the inspa. Well first,

obviously I have to know when is your birthday? August 4th, or Malio.

Malio with the same birthday as Obama. Actually, that is true. And maybe even the same year, I think.

Really? Yeah. That's that means a lot. Yeah. Yeah. It has to be important. Yeah. He hasn't reached out

to me yet, but I'm standing standing by. You're on the list for sure. I actually just finished

becoming by Michelle Obama. I haven't really yet. It was phenomenal. If you do the audiobook,

she actually reads it herself. So I really highly recommend. Okay. Cool. But speaking of books,

let's talk about yours. So is this your first book that you've written? It is my first book. Yes.

I've worked briefly as a professional writer, a journalist, but this is my first book.

And what was the inspiration behind, fuck it, get a divorce? Were you at some point in an

unhappy marriage yourself? Yeah. I am divorced. I was married for over 20 years. And my marriage

ended in divorce. It was largely a good marriage. And my ex-wife is a fantastic person.

And we're still, you know, friendly. We had this horrible divorce, though. And the end of the

relationship was really an unfortunate chapter, especially given how, you know, on balance good

everything was for a good long time. Right. And going through that unpleasant experience, I had a
