Happy Monday to you. I'm Derrick Hunter. I'm your host and it's not a particularly happy Monday because it's not a particularly happy Sunday.

Got some really horrible news. Got a phone call this afternoon that my friend Joe the plumber had passed.

He'd been fighting pancreatic cancer for about a year. I discovered it late. He was 49 years old. He has three young children, young wife, but she called this afternoon and let us know.

So this show is going to be it's going to be he'd be pissed off at me if I didn't do something normal. So I will do a normal show, but I won't do a whole normal show just because.

Not really in the mood for it, but I'll do my best. I'll get through it. I'll fake it till you make it. But yeah, if you go to my Twitter feed, if you can, if you're so inclined, if you can, you give, they've got to give send go to help the family. They set it up before they set it up a couple months ago.

I talked to him two weeks ago. I think two or three weeks ago, I called him. So I just check in just to see what's going on and they just they were getting ready to move to Wisconsin where his wife's family lives.

He wanted them to I didn't I was he didn't say anything to me about it. That was the reason I should have known that was the reason. I just thought it was.

I didn't know he didn't he wasn't the kind of guy who'd tell you how bad it was. I just saw some pictures of him and said, okay, he's lost a lot of weight. I don't know what's going on because I talked to him, but I hadn't seen him in a while. I guess I haven't seen him since last year. I think it was.

So call him up. His energy seemed fine. His spirits were definitely good, but they were moving to Wisconsin to be closer to family, which I thought, okay, well, it goes through all these treatments and everything he wants to be closer to family. That makes sense. It wasn't his family, but her family, his wife's family.

And then he passed. He, according to his wife, he was, he said, we made it. He wanted to get them near family, but have all the distractions for the kids as kids are.

I think as old as old as son is in his 20s, but he's got three young kids that are 10 or below or 12 or below for sure.

Old enough for young enough to not mind playing with a five and a four year old or five and three year old when we were at their house.

So that was a couple years ago. So it probably under 10. But they'll thankfully have all the distractions.

That you want and you need in those sorts of circumstances, but keep a Samuel Joseph, Worsal Bacher and his family in your prayers, if you don't mind, because it sucks.

All right. So there is other news. There is audio that I will get to and I tell you I'll do as best a normal show as I can. But it's just one of those days.

The big news of the weekend was this mass shooting in Jacksonville, Florida. I don't know a whole lot about it.

I haven't been following the news all that closely this weekend and it seems more like a local story than answer a horrible thing when four people are killed.

There's no question about it. But or three people were killed.

But it was apparently racially motivated by an evil, evil person. And so it is, well, no, let me say this.
