driving force behind Vampire Weekend.

And I mean, as it is true, my, I just checked

and we started emailing in our little family group

and when Sammy was 12 years old in like a friend named Ian slipped us your record one week

before it came out and we started emailing about it then and I mean now Sam's 24 and a best-selling author and like you are you've

been a part of our joined familial conversation with him and Anna who's been you read one of Anna's letters on your

show once so oh right yeah yeah yeah so it's a big deal all right so I put this

question up last night on Twitter about asking people what album do you remember

listening to for the first time and knowing with dead certainty that this was one for you,

like for the ages forever. Like not something your brother handed down to you

something new where where you knew your life was changed and your albums have been that for people but I'm

wondering what are a couple

that were that way for you?

And like, who were you then?
