We're going to study Ezra Chapter 2 today, and I will admit to you this is one of those chapters that if you decide to

skip this episode, I will not have my feelings hurt. Because a lot of this episode is going to be

a census. And so it's going to be a little drier.

I'm going to see if we can pull out some interesting things from this as we look at it,

but basically this is going to be the most boring chapter of the book of Ezra.

And it goes like this, the list of the exiles who returned.

Now, these are the people of the province who came up from the captivity of the exiles,

whom Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, had taken captive to Babylon.

They returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each to their own town,

in the company with Zerubabel, Joshua, Nihamaya, Saraya, Relya, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mizpar, Big Vai, Rehom, and Benah.
